Magnetic Separator
Description
The magnetic separators are designed to accommodate different tubes. Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnetic coin or magnetic bars are on the different bracket surface. The magnets and tube holders are positioned to efficiently separate magnetic particles from liquid of microlitre or milliliter volumes. The magnetic separator can be used in the process of immunoassay, nucleic acid purification, and cell sorting.
Protocol
2-tube Separator
Designed for 5 ml (13 mm × 53 mm) and 15 ml (16 mm × 120 mm) micro- centrifuge tubes. The magnetic particles in the tubes are attracted to the side of separator and the separation process can be completed rapidly. Then the supernatant can be aspirated, leaving the magnetic particles as a pellet on the side of the tube.
6-tube and 8-tube Separator
Designed for six or eight 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes. The magnetic particles in the tubes are attracted to the side of separator and the separation process can be completed rapidly. Then the supernatant can be aspirated, leaving the magnetic particles as a pellet on the side of the tube.
7-tube and 48-tube detachable Separator
Two kinds of detachable separators. The magnetic separation rack and the test tube holder can be separated conveniently. It was designed for seven 1.5 ml and forty-eight 0.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes. The magnetic particles in the tubes are attracted to the side of separator and the separation process can be completed rapidly. Then the supernatant can be aspirated, leaving the magnetic particles as a pellet on the side of the tube.

50-tube Separator
Designed for fifty 12 mm × 60 mm test tubes. The magnetic particles in the tubes are attracted to the bottom of separator and the separation process can be completed rapidly. Then the supernatant can be aspirated, leaving the magnetic particles as a pellet on the bottom of the tube.
96-well Plate Separator
Designed for 96-well microplate. The magnetic particles in the wells are attracted to the side of separator and the separation process can be completed rapidly. Then the supernatant can be aspirated, leaving the magnetic particles as a pellet on the side of the well.
