Specificity of Mab:            The anti Flag magnetic particle is designed to work with the FLAG peptide. The FLAG peptide marker is an octapeptide [asp-tyr-lys-asp-asp-asp-asp-lys] fusion tag. The anti flag M2 magnetic particles can bind an available FLAG peptide whether it is located at the free amino terminus, Met amino terminus, internal site or carboxy terminus of a FLAG fusion protein. Met amino terminal FLAG fusion proteins are expressed within the cytoplasm.
