Presentation: Preparation: Protein-A/G purified Content: Available in 200 µL and 1 mL Concentration: 1 mg/mL Solvent: 0.01 M phosphate buffer, pH 7.4, with 0.5 M NaCl and 15mM sodium azide Storage: In the dark at 4-8ºC
Antigen: Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-a) is a cytokine produced by activated monocytes and macrophages. TNF-a stimulates inflammation and can act directly as an inducer of apoptosis. It mediates many of the systemic acute phase responses but can also cause septic shock in patients with serious infections. Human TNF-a is a 17.4 kDa protein containing 157 amino acid residues (1). Immunogen: Human TNF-a Specificity: HYB 141-09 is specific for human TNF-a Epitope specificity: Epitope specificity differs from but overlap that of HYB 141-08 Reactivity: In ELISA HYB 141-09 reacts strongly with human TNF-a with the antigen coated directly onto the microtitre well.
