PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Manufactured using DEPC treated water and Biotech grade EDTA, disodium dihydrate. Solution is sterile filtered and packaged in sterile bottles.
QUALITY CONTROL
DNAse testing: 2 µg Lambda DNA was incubated for 16 hours at 37°C with 10 µl of 0.5M EDTA pH 8.0 in a 100 µl reaction consisting of 10mM NaCl, 5mM Tris-HCl pH 7.9, 1mM MgCl2, and 0.1mM dithiothreitol.
No degradation of the DNA, observed by gel electrophoresis and subsequent staining, is allowed.
RNAse testing: EDTA pH 8.0 in a 100 4l reaction consisting of 10mM NaCl, 5mM Tris-HCl pH 7.9, 1mM MgCl2, and 0.1 mM dithiothreitol.
No degradation of the RNA, observed by gel electrophoresis and subsequent staining, is allowed.
